Guest mytime2shyne Posted March 11, 2006 Share Posted March 11, 2006 yes i see the d/l for this prog on the main page, but hell, i cant even get it installed. m$ has put a stop of installing this program if you have an inproper registration key. i have done did the newest windows validation crack so windows validated fine, i can use windows update and/or microsoft update and the validation lets me even d/l this program from the site but i get stopped when it starts to install saying 'invalid vlk product key used' thus my copy of xp is burned w/ a generated key. is there a way to get this program to install or what?? myidisbb Posted March 11, 2006 Share Posted March 11, 2006 and even if you get the program from a non microsoft web site you still have to get the updates from ms. so since you have found this place why not viist the front page and pick something else for anti spyware. you can run multi anti spyware programs at once. frankly ms anti spyware and the defender never from any real threat on my system to begin with.btw does anyone remember the place that the prisoners on judge dread where taken too? I currently run Ewido(realtime protection), A-squared (free edition), Ad-aware (free edition) and SpywareBlaster plus Avast (free edition). Not paronoid, just cautious. ;) I tried MS Anti-spyware just after MS got it from Giant. It was ok.
