It caused a number of issues for me, like mentioned here: https://www.androidpit.com/this-is-why-you-should-not-use-es-file-explorer I don't care if the pro version doesn't have adds. I need a File manager that seemlessly moves files across my LAN, has OTG device support, Cloud Storage support (main sites) and FTP.. Also I need an APP that has a facility to do APP APK backups and an internal FTP server to share it's own files.. I have one tab open for my FTP, one for my phone and another for my Google drive. I can copy/paste files from one to another without any problems. It also has it's own internal FTP and HTTP and TCP server. Just search for it. I have not required any extra codecs to view videos inside it.
