I have tried both versions of MBAM -- the latest and the one provided in the OP, but none of them give option to activate a "Freemium" 14-day trial. And, when I try to insert a license in the free mode this what I am getting: What a coincidence that also happened to me when i try to activate my copy.Even clearing the hosts file,uninstall and reinstall mbam didnt help at all so i decided to replace/fix my hosts file. I followed the instruction here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/972034/how-to-reset-the-hosts-file-back-to-the-default and after that i can activate my mbam again using the key provided by bluesea. To edit your "hosts" file: You've to do that using a text editor like Notepad under administrator rights (You must run it as administrator).
