Customers generously shared the information on social media, drawing a crowd at the Harris County machine, Associated Press has reported. In footage shot by local news channel KPRC-TV, people even lined up in their cars for their turn - less Mad Max-esque as it sounds, as the ATM appears to be located in the middle of a carpark. (KPRC-TV) People crowded the ATM to withdraw money. (KPRC-TV) KPRC also reported there was some physical conflict among the milling customers, which is probably to be expected. The bank has not said how much cash was wrongly dispensed. They attributed the error to the happy accident of a vendor incorrectly loading $100 bills instead of $10 bills into the machine. (KPRC-TV) The bank has said customers can keep the extra money. (KPRC-TV) The machine was shut down and even drew a police guard after the error was discovered.
