First Windows 10 19H1 ISOs Now Available for Download ISO images officially released by Microsoft today

Microsoft has just released the very first Windows 10 19H1 ISO images, allowing users in the Skip Ahead and Fast rings of the Windows Insider program to clean-install the operating system.

 

These new ISO images are for build 18272, and their release is more or less unexpected, as Microsoft typically ships new ISOs when builds are promoted to the Slow ring. This is the moment when the company flags builds as stable enough for more insiders, and rolling out ISO images is part of making them available to an increased number of users.

 

Windows 10 build 18272 was announced earlier today and it can also be downloaded from Windows Update by insiders in the Fast ring.

 

It comes with several improvements, including a new Windows Hello setup experience, accessibility refinements, and SwiftKey integration for more keyboards.

 

ISO image versions

 

ISO images can only be downloaded with an Insider account from this page, and they are available in three different versions, namely Windows Insider Preview, Windows insider Preview Enterprise, and Windows Insider Preview Home China. They are offered in both 32- and 64-bit images.

 

The first listing, Windows 10 Insider Preview, includes Home, Pro, Education, and Home Single Languages.

 

In addition to performing a clean install, ISO images are particularly helpful for IT pros who want to test new OS feature updates in advance, as they can be used to deploy virtual machines that run in a secure environment, without the need for a dedicated machine.

 

Windows 10 19H1 is projected to be released in the spring of the next year, and according to Microsoft’s typical schedule, the RTM is likely to be ready in March, with insiders obviously the first ones to get it in advance of the global launch. The public rollout could begin in April, as it happened this year too.
