CODYQX4
Sooo waiting for the final enterprise release..I thought they killed it off in 2010?Wikipedia says Professional Plus is the highest edition now, in other words, Pro+ is the new Enterprise/Ultimate.They supposedly are killing those 2 as well as others. They are making a Starter, which will probably replace Basic.
HX1
Well if you actually knew the difference in the two.. Enterprise Edition uses a mass key, the only thing its is missing are some of the the stuff you won't get just buying office anyway..What I am waiting for..1. Something that is a release..2. Something I can install from a disc.. or other media..3. ...using a simple key .. which will update through the entire life of the products until we have another version..... IT will exist rather they officially release one or not.. in fact .. I NEVER seen a commercial version of the Enterprise Edition...

I NEVER seen a commercial version of the Enterprise Edition...You are looking for a VLK, then.Unfortunately, in Office 2010, even those need activated (So its not like in 2007 where if you used a "Mass Key", it wouldn't ask for activation). What we likely are going to need is a patch, hopefully like the one I made, but they radically changed activation in 2010, it uses SPP (what Vista/7 use), so it is different and my patch don't work.My Office 2007 patch did the all zero phone activation, but works on any edition and update. The other way was to DL a pre cracked DLL, but when an update came, your precracked DLL was old, so you downloaded the updated cracked DLL, about 20mb each time.I want something like this in 2010, a simple 1 byte patch, that if you update and it wrecks office, repatch the updated DLL and all is fine.I don't think it will be so in 2010, but I know it will be cracked, one way or another. HX1
No mine asks for a key every installation and is validated..
CODYQX4
No mine asks for a key every installation and is validated..When it asks for the key, it just checks if the key fits the serial algoritm (Obviously all 1's won't). This does not validate/activate anything. If you got Enterprise, then your key is VLK, and if so, it doesn't need activated (It is still possible to fail OGA).Real Activation is when it says "Activate Over Internet" or "Activate by phone". You don't get this in when using a VLK. You will get this in 2010, even with a VLK, as they made VLK activation necessary, like they did in Vista, as in XP, a VLK didn't need activated (again, you can still fail the genuine check). My point is that we will need activation, even with VLK's, so patches may be required on all editions of 2010.PS: Any "Release" that says no serial required and/or doesn't ask for key has just automated it. I have done this myself as I hate typing in the key, especially when installing on several PC's. It is very easy. All the "Blue Edition" is is enterprise with an automated setup. csmdew
the blue edition has a key in it so it can be activated and update.
