SRS Audio Sandbox 1.9.0.4 Patch not working for x64

I'm using Windows 7 x64. I've copied the patch to C:\Program Files\SRS Labs\Audio Sandbox, the same place as the .exe file is

It still doesn't patch it. I think the patch may be outdated, as the patch says its for v1.6xxx

Can anyone help?

Karthikjos ,

Even I had the patching problem of SRS with Windows 7 64bit. Tried several times, none worked and after a while eventually got it working .

here is how i did it. I have Dual boot on my system with Vista Ultimate and SRS was working there fine....( Obviously through Patching)....I copied the SRSSSC.exe file from Vista into Windows 7 SRS folder and re-placed it , then launched SRS....... Voila all fixed ..............try it

@ gkk

While I appreciate your feedback, it does seem quite bothersome to do that.

Instead, I looked around and found a torrent with a CORE keygen. That worked perfectly :)

I think the patch should be updated to include CORE. I could post the torrent link if you want or put it on rapidshare or similar.

I've used enough of your uploads to know that with everything, you must right-click and run as admin :P

Still, that did not work for me... :frusty:

I agree , it is quite difficult to try my suggestion especially if you do not have dual boot or the cracked exe file. Glad you found a keygen to crack/patch SRS direct.

BTW, just realised ,the cracked exe I used was from Vista Ultimate x32 and it works fine on Windows 7x64 ????

Thanks, Please upload the CORE keygen on RS or MF and post the link...........as I d/l few and sadly most were Virus infected !!

Oh, I'm really sorry for wasting your time shought!!

What I did was dl the keygen, but Eset didn't let me. I disabled Eset, but had to wait 20 mins... I got impatient and tried the patch, which wasnt working. However, the keygen, which I dled from a torrent did (I ignored Eset's message then), but Eset doesn't allow you to dl a file from the internet that it thinks is infected, you have to disable it and becoz of that u have to wait 20 mins "You've already downloaded this file, please wait 20 minutes to try again."

Is it possible to password protect the file (with nsane or similar) so that the antivirus will allow you to dl the file?

@gkk

Even though many antiviruses detect it as viruses, it isn't. I ran the core10k file or something (to check whether its genuine) and it came out fine.

No problem :D

From our frontpage FAQ:

Q: Why do I have to wait 20 minutes before downloading a file for the second time, even when I didn't finish the download?

A: This is a defense mechanism to protect our site from attacks. Please try to make sure our downloads are not blocked somehow, this way you won't encounter this problem again. Sometimes your antivirus will block certain files because it thinks it is a virus, this is not the case, please add http://proxy.nsanedown.com/* to your exclusions or disable your antivirus before downloading from us. We guarantee all files provided on the frontpage are safe.

Adding http://proxy.nsanedown.com/* or *nsanedown.com* to your exclusions is recommended, I know it does seem a little dangerous, but we ensure you all files we provide are safe :)
