TrojanK
Does anyone know about this? 👇 127.0.0.1:1001/status/204+IDM ERR_INVALID_HTTP_RESPONSE

dcs18
IDM makes websocket calls to 127.0.0.1:1001 (there are some others, too) — something on your system is blocking it (AdGuard is one such capable program that comes to mind.)
TrojanK
@teodz1984Â Sometimes when I click on download button, IDM start download dialog appears (as usual), but then the download page changes to that in the picture @dcs18Â I dont have AdGuard, I do have KIS19
dcs18
AdGuard was merely an example — you may want to create a Allow rule for that websocket call from IDM, on whichever app. or program is responsible for the block (it could even be a ad-blocking add-on, on your browser.) Rekkio
The call isn't actually blocked, the call gets through but receives an invalid answer.  Probably an old IDM Chrome Extension with a newer IDM Application version ?  Also maybe check if you have the Advanced Integration checked with the latest IDM Extension installed. Then check if your browser is actually selected.

Although, not valid in this particular, according to the OP — still, a good point from my personal point-of-view.   On 7/28/2018 at 7:06 PM, TrojanK said: @dcs18 I had stopped using Firefox months ago..will let you know if I get it anytime on Firefox (just installed) Was only wondering whether other browsers were affected — would've helped point-out the possibility of whether the culprit is the browser. debebee
I remember this situation in the past.. Its probably a bad integration between idm and the Browser.. Fixed by reinstalling both..
