Following the fiery Note7 fiasco in 2016, Samsung quickly turned the game around with the device's successor, the Galaxy Note8. With the impending launch of the Galaxy Note9 this years, rumors have already begun to float regarding the features that Samsung might be integrating into its next premium handset.

A new report now claims that Samsung might launch the Galaxy Note9 with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

Spotted by GSMArena, the claim comes from leakster @UniverseIce on Twitter who has a fairly decent track record when it comes to this kind of stuff:

If you are lucky, you will see 8GB RAM and 512GB ROM Galaxy Note9

Currently, the most premium variant of the latest Note8 in some regions features 6GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage, which makes this bump in specifications rather considerable. However, it wouldn't be too surprising since Samsung does launch different versions of its handsets for specific regions.

So far, we have also heard that the upcoming Galaxy Note9 will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and Bixby 2.0, the latter rumor was also confirmed by the South Korean tech giant. However, the latest rumor has not been confirmed by Samsung so it is advisable to take them with a pinch of salt. We will likely learn more towards the device's expected launch in August 2018.

That's necessary to endure all the bloatware they ship with their phone. Their custom ROM is terrible.

S9 is quite a perfect phone with not so many bundled crapware. I find it quite light on bloatware vs other asian manufacturers.
