So if I now have an Enterprise VL that is now getting deactivated on every Update after 2 years of working, will KMSpico work without me having to reinstall anything like Office,  etc? This discussion makes this option seem safe. At least VirusTotal says it is clean but not sure if it looks for ransomware.

No experience with it but this is what they say in this Quora link below:

After activation of Windows or Office, you can use for a lifetime. There is no trail just like 30 days, 90 days or any period. You can use it for unlimited time. Finally, you can say that it is a permanent solution.

OK...I just can try it with first making an image of the drive. Not sure why mine gets deactivated every time we do an Update but OPABackup does a restore OK until the next update. I am just afraid that one day OPA will no longer work!  Lots of scare posts about this having Virus and Ransomware!

Much better to use Windows for free then to switch to a Linux distro!  It is win-win for MS.  Eventually a person buys.  No chance of doing so on another OS.
