The application shows Wi-Fi networks around you. You can view all available details of the networks. The spectrum chart helps you identify overlapping networks and choose the best channel for your router. User can also connect to the listed networks. it's possible in any TP-Link standard  utility .

almost forgot-not less important than to choose ryt channel for wi-fi is to choose right country in the settings,in my case it's Japan . It's about regional wi-fi standards. (not too important for North Amerca)
