Reefa
Ecuador’s government has cut WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange’s Internet access, preventing him from tweeting and engaging in other online activities. Assange has been living at the Ecuadorian embassy in London for six years to avoid extradition to Sweden over a rape charge. Though that issue has since been dropped, Assange remains in the embassy over fears of a US extradition and the British government’s demand that he “face justice.” Ecuador released a statement today explaining that a tweet published by Assange was in violation of a written agreement that he wouldn’t share messages that interfere with other governments. The country says that Assange’s behavior could jeopardize its relationship with other countries, though it doesn’t point toward any specific tweet as the reason for its decision. A Google Translation of the Ecuadorian government’s tweeted announcement reads: Quote The government of Ecuador suspends communications from Julian Assange. The Government of Ecuador suspended the systems that allow Julian Assange to communicate with the outside world from the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where the citizen has remained in international protection for six years due to the risk to his life and integrity. The measure was adopted due to Assange’s breach of the written commitment it assumed with the Government at the end of 2017, for which it was obliged not to issue messages that supposed interference with other States. The Government of Ecuador warns that the behavior of Assange, with its messages through social networks, puts at risk the good relations that the country maintains with the United Kingdom, with the rest of the States of the European Union and other nations. Therefore, to prevent potential damage, the embassy in London interrupted this March 27 communications abroad to which Assange has access. The Executive also maintains open the way to the adoption of new measures before the breach of commitment by Assange. The decision likely relates to Assange’s most recent tweet, below, in which he responds to UK junior minister Alan Duncan’s recent statement, “It’s of great regret that Julian Assange remains in the Ecuador embassy. It’s about time that this miserable little worm walked out of the embassy and gave himself up to British justice.” Quote As a political prisoner detained without charge for 8 years, in violation of 2 UN rulings, I suppose I must be "miserable"; yet nothing wrong with being a "little" person although I'm rather tall; and better a "worm", a healthy creature that invigorates the soil, than a snake. — Julian Assange ⌛ (@JulianAssange) March 27, 2018 British officials have denounced Assange’s claim that he is being detained, pointing toward the fact that he voluntarily entered the embassy and that he is free to leave whenever he’d like. https://www.slashgear.com/ecuador-cuts-wikileaks-founder-julian-assanges-internet-access-28525136/

Alan Jones Press AssociationMARCH 30, 20183:56AM Electronic jammers have been placed inside the Ecuadorian embassy in London to prevent WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange having access to the internet or social media, sources say. The Ecuadorian government took the measure on Tuesday evening, stopping Assange from tweeting, using the internet or phone. He has also been refused any visitors to the embassy, where he has been living since June 2012, believing he will be extradited to the US for questioning over the activities of WikiLeaks if he leaves. The measures follow the publication of an article in the Ecuadorian press concerning Assange's tweets about the arrest of former Catalan president Carles Puigdemont in Germany earlier this week. In a phone call to Assange's lawyer on Tuesday, an adviser to Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Maria Fernanda Espinosa said the WikiLeaks founder must stop tweeting about the Catalan issue. He was also asked to erase a tweet which said: "In 1940 the elected president of Catalonia, Lluis Companys, was captured by the Gestapo, at the request of Spain, delivered to them and executed. Today, German police have arrested the elected president of Catalonia, Carles Puigdemont, at the request of Spain, to be extradited." Assange did not erase the tweet. His lawyer was told that a decision had been taken to isolate Assange by preventing him from communicating with the outside world and that this was "by order of the president", say sources. The serving Ecuadorian ambassador to Washington DC Francisco Carrion tweeted on Thursday: "The decision of the government of Ecuador to prevent Assange from tweeting is correct." The Ecuador government said in a statement: "The government of Ecuador has suspended the systems that allow Julian Assange to communicate to the outside of the Ecuador embassy in London. "The measure was adopted due to Assange not complying with a written promise which he made with the government in late 2017, by which he was obliged not to send messages which entailed interference in relation to other states." WikiLeaks sources said there was no such agreement. Former Greek minister Yanis Varoufakis and musician Brian Eno said in a statement: "Only extraordinary pressure from the US and the Spanish governments can explain why Ecuador's authorities should have taken such appalling steps in isolating Julian." They added that the Ecuador government had only recently granted Assange citizenship, saying it must have been "leaned on mercilessly" to stop attempting to provide a diplomatic route to safety and even drive the WikiLeaks founder out of the embassy. "Clearly, Ecuador's government has been subjected to bullying over its decision to grant Julian asylum, support and ultimately, diplomatic status," they said. Ecuador briefly suspended Assange's internet connection in 2016 during the US presidential election. Thousands of people have signed a petition calling on the government of Ecuador to reverse its decision. steven36
It don't matter who supports him , what matters hes wanted on charges in the USA ,i don't fell sorry for him, if i was wanted and i ran they would charge me for evading justice regardless if i done it or not . Also what matters the President of Ecuador can't stand him and says hes a hacker . When he went to that embassy they had another President who liked him and now the cards has turned, one day Lenín Moreno is most likely going to sell him out for some money, thats most likely the only reason hes still there, they not gave Moreno the right deal he wants yet. Only person that can pardon him is Trump and good luck on that lol.

In the UK they have CCTV even in rural areas, they will be waiting on him as soon as steps foot out of the compound . Snowden never was crazy enough to go to no embassy and trap himself, he just got the heck out of doge and in the USA as long as you don't get stopped its not hard to get out . People be on the run for years and never leave the USA and don't get caught they just hide out in some remote area and there is many Americans who made it out to other countries . I use live in one place were the jails were so full, that unless you had done something really bad they would not even bother to come pick you up if they was a warrant out for you're arrest. It was on the local news even . if you have the money you can buy another identity even. In the UK they would have to sneak you out trough France or you have to fly out or ride a boat. Snowden was going to leave Russia and seek asylum in Latin America but Assange told him not too, that he would most likely be kidnapped or killed there, if you have some booty on you're head down there and you don't have the money to hire bodyguards they will hold you for ransom and thats why Snowden never left . They will kidnap you down there regardless if they think they can get some money out of you. The police even work for cartels down there and just look the other way. Snowden didn't get paid very well he was just a Temp worker at the NSA and the CIA.. hes not got no money much. He didn't even finish High School he just was good at fixing computers . Most of the time you can lie about if you finish High School and they never even look to see , thats what a guy who was rich and owned a business told me. only thing on a background check they look at is do you have a felony are not. He went to trade school and got a piece of paper saying he was certified is how he pulled that one off. He started out as just a security guard at NSA and left and became a contractor for the NSA . I worked as a contractor before but not for the NSA, but for the US ARMY and other companies and you're not a real employee once you're contract is up if not renewed you're gone and go somewhere else . In reality Snowden was just a kid who stole some laptops and was in the right place at the right time . Anyone if given the right access can do this and others have walked out with PCs from there as well. The Drug Cartels down there have a long history of working for the CIA so you don't want go down there if you pissed off the NSA or CIA. One of the contra rebels that worked for the CIA was the person who invented Crack so he could sell his supply faster that the CIA helped them ship into the USA. All the Cubans that try to kill Castro were trained by the CIA and after it failed they became Drug Runners . https://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/aug/29/julian-assange-told-edward-snowdon-not-seek-asylum-in-latin-america Assange would have went to Russia years ago if he could have, he knows he would better off there even.
