If you still believe that Start8 is the best — want to post a write-up on its advantages?

I combine rocketdoc with startIsBack equal achievement appearances with external themes, with additional gadgets. This is the most stable that I have installed

Hey sirri

Yes it's working alright at my end.

Are you using a licensed product or a modified one?

And do you have the scheduled task related to startisback++ or no? I reckon that is necessary so as for the windows update to not break it.

Just started using modified one since updated to 1709

No scheduled task related found. Every time logon, W10 menu appear (pinned tiles as default). I must press Windows Key to change SIB++.

is it possible not fully patched ? I need others confirm this behavior

From what I know there should be a scheduled task.

Can you do one thing? Uninstall the patch one and install just the trial and see if your issue is fixed or no?

Also notice whether the trial one schedules a task or no?

If it is fixed, then it was probably the patch that was the culprit.

Post your result.

Are you installing the program for everyone or just a particular user?

Also do you have administrative priveleges while installing it?

Here's the service I'm talking about:-

  Reveal hidden contents

Here is an export of that task, open task scheduler and import it. Manually run it, and then restart your PC and see if it has some effect. All these options are present in right side of task scheduler.

https://www.upload.ee/files/8239977/StartIsBack_health_check.xml.html

I hope the location of program is same otherwise that will need to be changed.

Just enquiring you're using version 2.6.1 right? Older versions may have some problem on the newest windows.

I installed it on two 1709 laptops last weekend; one 'Home', one 'Pro'.

Installed on my 1607 'Enterprise' PC.

Installations all went smooth, and there's been no issues since.
