uninstall spy sweeper, re-install entering a new key, but run the updater BEFORE running spy sweeper...and use 'disable spy sweeper auto-updates' in the options menu (now spy sweeper won't check your lic when you open it) :P

I seem to have the same problem as well nsane. Installed, clicked no for auto update checker, used keygen for key, started spy sweeper and disabled auto update version check and put ignore on definition check, shut down spy sweeper, ran 1.5.2 proggie, nothing happens after that. The program is running and is shown on the task manager but isn't there suppose to be some pop-up with cmd line instructions or what not since nothing seems to be happening after I executed the update exe. :/ Any suggestions to this solution would be most apprectiated. Thanks.

Hmm I seemed to have figured it out. For me it was closing (or rather end tasking) my explorer.exe then running the updater 1.5.2 from the task manager. From there the gui opened where I reopened explorer.exe and clicked update. From default v556 to Newest v612 is the updated definitions for Spy Sweeper. Great work Scott and thanks for trying to help nsane ^^
