ARMOUR Posted May 11, 2017 Share Posted May 11, 2017 An online game called Blue Whale (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Whale_(game)) has made international headlines in recent days, and it has a number of local organisations, including the South African Depression and Anxiety Group, concerned teenagers here may soon be able to access it. BLUE Whale is a sick suicide challenge that appears to goad vulnerable teens into killing themselves. The game is believed to have originated in Russia and has been linked to at least 130 deaths. While not available in South Africa at this time, the game is downloaded onto a computer or smartphone and the user is then presented with daily tasks by an assigned administrator. The challenges are dangerous and sinister, with users encouraged to kill themselves on the 50th and final day. The dangerous game has been linked to at least 130 teen deaths in Russia and police in the UK have now started warning parents about the challenge. The Blue Whale suicide game is believed to be an online social media group which is encouraging people to kill themselves. According to reports, those who took their lives had completed smaller challenges in the ‘game’ over the 50 days and by the end of it, were encouraged to try to ‘win the game’ by killing themselves. The Blue Whale Challenge is not always run from an app; sometimes it is run from websites or social media groups. Blue Whale first showed up in Russia What Is the ‘Blue Whale’ Challenge? The Blue Whale ‘suicide game’ is an online social media group that encourages players to kill themselves, via a series of challenges and games. It is said that a group administrator assigns daily tasks that one must complete for 50 days. Some of the tasks involve self mutilation, watching horror movies and waking up at unusual hours. Thee tasks get more extreme as days pass. On the 50th and final day, the admins instruct the players to commit suicide The man behind a sick 'suicide game' aimed at children has been inundated with love letters from teenage girls addressed to him at a Russian jail where he is in custody. Philipp Budeikin is being held on charges of inciting at least 16 schoolgirls to kill themselves by taking part in his social media craze called Blue Whale - which police fear is spreading to Britain. The Russian 21-year-old - who has now confessed to the crimes - says he thinks of his victims as 'biological waste' and told police that they were 'happy to die' and he was 'cleansing society'. Anyone who lets to be "incited" to suicide, actually somehow already wanted to kill him/herself. NSA, FBI, CIA, KGB, SIS, EU INTCEN INTERPOL and many other I-don't-know-shit organization to use their manpower and resources to catch the MODs/admin of this stupid sick game. Let's see your ability being put to good use to save the lives of our youngsters instead of being only as a dick-sucking-tool for large copyright troll corporations!
