Macron campaign blasts 'massive hacking attack' ahead of French presidential election

The campaign team of French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron said on Friday night it had been the victim of a "massive hacking attack" after a trove of documents was released online.

The apparent hack came on the final day of campaigning in the French presidential election, with Mr Macron, the centrist, facing Marine Le Pen, the far-Right candidate in tomorrow's run-off.

Campaign officials stated authentic documents had been mixed on social media with fake ones to sow "doubt and misinformation" and that it was a clear attempt to undermine Mr Macron.

"The En Marche! Movement has been the victim of a massive and co-ordinated hack this evening which has given rise to the diffusion on social media of various internal information," Mr Macron's "En Marche!" (Onwards!) party said in a statement.

amazing how no one who likes Putin ever gets hacked or has stuff published on line from a hack...but that is just more fake news about Putin doing bad  stuff

Is there any actual working link for those tools? all we see or hear is "release", where Are the "released" stuff?

I wish, I am not saying it...

some are paid, some are rip-off's (most for sale are) few domains on Darknet still have them, BUT do not go there!!!!

as most of them are spooks them-self.

 

also, there where "underground" forums, where, past membership links are available to get them free, but if you do not know workings- they'll be detected and deleted by your AV, even, before you'd figure out as how to implement or what they do.

 

Most lack interface and are not designed on either framework, but old java, you'd have to learn how to use properly to use CMD and linux based command prompts.

 

Lastly, bits I personally had, after a month of working out as how to ... do something, learned, that it wasn't working on 90% of effectively distributed IP's as security does catch up and doesn't function... but importantly WILL leave trails to get back to you...

Darknet has a lot of useless stuff as well as illegal things but yeah i definitely won't try to download them, not bcz Im afraid of any foreign organization knocking my door, they have no jurisdiction here, merely because I don't trust the hosted tools.

"funny" as the hacker of the "hacked" president seem to have been linked.

Experts are saying that it has been deliberately implemented by Macron and Russians for the sake of the show...

 

Sounds as Putin invested in both candidate's... :/
