One of the First things it asks you is for the KEY or Serial Number. I never upgraded from 2016 I only used the 2017 Offline Installer. Surely there is a place in the program at the top of the program Top Right OPTIONS then on the drop down box towards the bottom ACTIVATE I do not know what else to tell you. Judging by the screenshot you have AVG Internet Security 2016 build 16.131.7924, the version in the lower right corner. I am wrong this is the 2016 version of AVG that I have installed. It is from the frontpage download link . It is not the 2017 version of AVG Internet Security. Here is pic of the 2017 version.
