I figured even if I don't like the cloud stuff, might be worth it to switch to a version that doesn't need a crack. Now today I get a popup that says my trial almost over!!! WTF is going on with this? Did everyone here have it all wrong? I have my roboform password files from V. 7 backed up. Is there a way to go back to 7 and use the old password files, or is there no way to do that like some are saying here? This sucks. They say its free then turn around and say SURPRISE!!! Your post seems to indicate you don't understand what's apparently going on with this. The choices shown in your table for 'comparison' no longer exist. It's now pay or pay. No more free version will be available. But thanks for the info on reinstall. Hopefully it will work. Just have to sort out what password info is new since my last backup from V. 7. Pain in the neck though. If they don't want to do it for free, its understandable. But don't hook people in on that basis and then say 'nevermind'. Anyway, seems to be differing takes on what's going on with this. The impression I got from the popup Roboform left for me, as well as some others on this thread, was that after the 30 days you'd have no use of the software entirely. I'm not sure what makes you certain that you will be able to continue using the software, but with fewer options. You're good with using annoying yellow print, but not with explaining how you arrived at this conclusion. They appear to just be starting this; if not I would think I'd have gotten this popup warning much earlier since I've had V 8 on my computer for quite some time now. Are you saying you actually got this popup over thirty days ago, and have continued to use a version of the software with some options locked? Is that what you're trying to say with your lovely, troll-like yellow print that you can see I'm so thankful for????? P.S. It did popup to me about a week ago. And it continues to function as usual... I was just kidding...... mostly Okay, so if you only got that popup a short time ago, then you haven't had the experience yet either of seeing what happens 30 days after you've first seen the Roboform popup. Has anyone here had that experience yet? I'm not clear if that's the case from the posts I've seen. What I can tell you, and what led me to think that the software gets 'locked' after 30 days, is I went to the Roboform site and couldn't find a thing anywhere about a free version. The only reference to anything 'free' was that you can download the software for free, but that's about it. Bottom line, I've used Roboform for many years and am used to it, but its kind of become a pain in the neck now. So I think the real issue is starting to look for a viable replacement, hopefully one where you can migrate Roboform passwords without problems. Oh, and thank you for not using the yellow print. Needless to state, it's also completely compatible with my 64-bit 54 Beta 13 (basic E10s and non-Photon structure.) ps:— It's not compliant to the 64-bit architecture, by default — had to pimp it (just once — subsequent updates do not require any further intervention/s on my part.)
