1. When AnyDVD has a sale, U should post it here somewhere?

2. Does AnyDVD provide Cinavia removal/repair? [DVDfab does (in some cases)]

3. What version of DVDfab should I purchase? I only want to copy Blu-Ray/DVDs. [This is assuming, of course, U can purchase/get the non-US somehow]

AnyDVD HD will not fix cinavia by it's self,  You must use CloneBD with AnyDVD HD then it will make a playable backup.

I am going to wait for some kind of sale. I also need to find out what version I need, I only want to copy Blu-Ray/DVDs [and Remove/Repair Cinavia of course].

EDIT: Someone above referred to a sale on Passkey, but I don't know if Passkey has access to Cinavia Removal/Repair. I could always use CloneBD, assuming it is compatible with Passkey?

Passkey does not have the cinavia removal, You need to have the full DVDFab program, I'm not sure if CloneBD is compatible with Passkey but you could try it since all Passkey and AnyDVD HD does is remove the protection.

Thx! This is what I suspected. The amount of money U need to spend to get both decryption and Cinavia Removal/Repair is very high.

From what i get from this review clonebd has problems it dont show that disc are protected also no one knows  when a frimware update is going to kill it (its only a temporary fix)and DVDFab is too expensive you can buy CinEx HD for  $3999/one-time and use Anydvd ,  Passkey ,   or make mkv  to remove protection ..

Issn't true. AnyDVD also bypass cinavia for software players like PowerDVD. It handels this protection by itselfes.

DVDFab is going to lose relevance in the coming years.

The bottom line is that optical discs are on their way out, so no-one should be ripping from a DVD or Blu-ray to another disc. It's a complete waste of time.

A lot of new movies are already available from a digital source, and the pendulum is going to keep swinging that way.

Optical discs were never any good from the start. The slow and clunky discs always took time to spin up. You had to wait for them to spin before you could do anything with them. Good riddance to them.

The only positive use that DVDFab has in the near future is ripping from an optical disc to a digital format. Storing videos in a (non optical) digital format is the way forward for now. I only ever stream movies. I haven't put a disc into a player in years. But, in the coming few years the demand and availability of discs is going to decrease with streaming services supplying the movies, so in time, there will be no discs to rip. The only tool left for it will be format conversions.

If you want extras there is not another way than optical discs.

"Different strokes for different folks" is the expression. The only thing relevant about this discussion is whether BRD is influenced by this? IOW, R they just devoting their energy to what they perceive is relevant?
