Hello.

On my hybrid drive, internet is fine.

See below.

However on my s.s.d. where it says Internet under IPv4 Connectivity, it is blank and no internet connection.

Anyone got a fix, I once new how to do the fix, but it was a long time ago.

Don't understand what's your problem.

Internet connectivity has no relation with disk drive (hdd/hybrid/ssd). IPv4 depends of OS (or hardware compatible like PXE) and it seems your problem concerns wrong configuration.

So, give a screenshot from error, and then we will can help you.

I made it pretty clear.

So I will tell you another way.

I am typing this message on my hybrid drive.

I want to eventually move to my Solid State Drive.

I have installed Windows 7 Pro on it and when I went earlier today to install more software on it, I noticed the error I mentioned!

Did you use the Windows network diagnostic system?! What did it report?!

Uncheck IPv6 before diagnose...

I did do a diagnostic repair and it said no errors.

I noticed that my Epson software updated fine, however, NIS would not connect nor would I.E.

IPv4 needs to connect, it's old and outdated but it's needed.

if you're doing this on the same PC and only part you changed was your SSD,

then you have two options,

either you didn't fresh install your OS on your SSD (i.e cloning your current OS etc) if so then fresh install and test it again.

or you fresh installed and didn't change any network config in your router/modem but still have this problem, then try updating your SSD's firmware, maybe it solves it.

I have two (2) hard disk drives, the one I am using to view and write to nsane and the S.S.D. I purchased from amazon.co.uk a few months ago.

I already partitioned the S.S.D. and put all my partition files all 400 g.b. of them to all seven (7) of them.

I installed Windows 7 Pro already and found that the error I reported needs to be fixed.

Later today I will turn off the power to my P.C. slide out the rack, insert the S.S.D. lock the rack, then reboot the P.C. once the power is on and then try the suggestions.

I have two (2) hard disks, one is a hybrid, so memory and hard disk drive and a S.S.D.

I think you make confusion between hardware and Internet problem.

You have a Hybrid HDD. And you have W7 installed on. You don't have any Internet problem.

Then, you buy a SSD. So what have you do with ?

-> Have you do a new fresh install of Windows ?

-> Have you clone your Hybrid drive to SSD drive ?

-> Are you using your Hybrid drive as OS and SSD drive as additional drive ?

-> Have you installed the SSD on another computer ?

-> Your problem is on the same OS or on different OS ?

We have many difficult to understand the context of your problem and what you have do exactly.

Please be more accurate in your description.

For example, your phrase is very strange because why do you speak about Memory ?

As mentioned before, please post screenshot of error (make a photo if necessary).

Just answer to each of my question will help us.

Regards.

maybe you don't have (2) two /too/ hard disks, maybe your new ssd is actually a wired and wireless signal jammer which has a built in ssd too.

Solution: tinfoil your ssd.

P.S very important note, when locking your rack remember to lock it tight.

To point out to the two previous posters.

I know what I have and I know how to use the devices correctly.

I solved the problem myself and I fixed the problem.

I posted a screen shot already.

I made it pretty clear what the problem was.

If you know how to use devices correctly you will certainly not post here ...

You say you fix the problem, so it will be nice for everyone to know the solution, be nSane are share.

Your screenshot is not the error and you mention it yourself as working:

Your post is absolutely not clear and all posters wanna try to help you say the same thing, be more precise of your problem and describe exactly what's wrong.

Relax guys, computers are funny things, not always do they do things that we ask them to. No need to get personal over it. Politeness is should be an feature of our community, not the lack of it.

@LeeSmithG: Having said, it will be nice if you post what was the fix to this unusual problem that you were facing here.
