Batu69
Sri Lankan authorities rescue a five-meter-long crocodile, one of the largest ever seen on the island, after it became stuck in a canal while searching for food. You might not think an animal this large would need to be rescued, but Sri Lankan officials thought otherwise. If fact, they believe its size is what got it into trouble. This massive crocodile measures over five meters, or 17 feet, long. Sri Lankan officials say it became stuck in a canal while looking for food. It's one of the largest ever seen in the island nation. They believe heavy rains caused the river levels to rise and pushed the animal toward the coastal town of Matara. But instead of killing it, local authorities brought in a giant crane to deal with the giant reptile, and gently encouraged it to go back home, where it belonged.
