Fitgirl's page is down temporarily until she changes domain......

August 31, 2016

Today my domain registrar and hoster got the following abuse emails:

The domain http://fitgirl-repacks.com/ Is currently hosting and promoting and sharing illegal content. That website is sharing pirated products which is illegaly attantied. That website is breaking the Title 17, United States Code, Sections 501 and 506.

The stuff that website is sharing also contains bitcoin miners and virus which have remote control which she uses to steal personal infomation from people.

Well, while I’m settling this case with the registrar, I’ve used a very simple tool for finding out, who was that man, who filed an abuse email. Just his email (and absence of brains of the email owner) led me to the following:

His email is: [email protected]

September 1, 2016

Now I will have to spend more time for registering new domain.

This one will stop working soon. To keep it working for you, open this file in text editor:

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

and add the following line

185.51.247.112 fitgirl-repacks.com

I will move my site to more abuse-resistant domain, like .cc or .to

Well if you visit fitgirl's current site and read about the person who sent her the mail you will understand if the allegations are true of false

FitGirl is a honest repacker, the amount of people talking shite never ends. I'm almost 100% sure that downloading stuff linked on that domain is clean, at least the stuff i have is, from KAT that is. You know, if stuff is so much better than other stuff and the work put into it good, there will always be some a$$hole getting jealously. David seems to have a small dick, apparently. Gotta slap him with the spoon. ?

I doubt it, a game is pre by the scene every few hours . Its like drugs you got  the careless dealers  who are wide open to make a quick buck and then you have the ones on the down low who never get caught.  The biggest game site  on p2p is in Asia  and the scene  dont belong to p2p even .Long live the scene  :P

Fitgirl is still putting up content on that site as far as I've checked, If you've subscribed to her, you'll get details, comments, version, repack issues, & all the links (torrent, magnet link, & P2P) you need regarding the game repack.

She's surprisingly vigilant of changes & news with regard to game updates & cracks - she doesn't repack beta-included updates (only final ones), she either does a choose-your-language repack or en/ru one.

I recall she made mention of some repacks that allegedly had bitcoin miners in it - I think this could be one factor that got her into this mess - not sure.

@n0_risk! yeah - David was the one she really got into - releasing all those info about him - really thorough, she was.

After reading the whole post on her site that I understood what was happening. Honestly, I did not know she was so famous.

The main thing I did not like about her repacks, atleast on one of the repacks I read about is her mentioning that as it's a repack, it cannot be upgraded. While, it is understood about repacks doing so, it would have been fine had we were in the gaming days where games were released without much fixes required. These days, games require several updates for fix common but important issues. In such cases, I do not like repacks not being able to update. To add to all this, I do not think she provided further updates to that game.

But reading those posts, man, she knows her work well I think.

She recently got into repacking GOG games (which require no cracks/emulators), and most of the time the updates are pretty much out of beta stage when released. Unlike in p2p releases in Steam games, where we have an awesome community who dump their beta files on us and we test it (e.g. Fallout 4) - where beta files come from the ones who subscribe to beta updates.  :P

That being said, she does realize that GOG games pretty much get updated regularly, hence she includes general registry fixes (either built-in the installer, or separate file) that allow you to pretty much download a GOG update and update your base GOG game. This isn't really the same with Steam (or other) games that have copy protection, where usually they update the game to screw up the previous cracking techniques used to circumnavigate their game. Meaning you have to wait for them to crack that before you can actually test it to see if it actually will work on your system.

Games nowadays are adopting the "paying beta-testers" strategy where they let clueless gamers buy still-developing games to "try out" (beta test) and allow these buyers offer "meaningful" feedback to the game as incentive, aside from bonus items/missions/etc. it's different from kickstarter games, but hell - you pay 60 dollars to play a game, not beta test it for the company.

While what you are saying is up for arguments, I agree with you. I personally neither am in liking of this - Early Access - feature, nor I'm in liking of companies porting their game to PC, testing them on super PCs and then trying to understand why people are having issues with the game there.

@DKT27 And you get to wonder how they get to recommend the minimum requirements part of their game if they only test their game out on an overclocked Devil's Canyon CPU + NVIDIA GTX Titan XP + 32GB DDR4 + Raid SSDS + OS + Motherboard + GPU Drivers + Benchmark Software installed only.

I didn't know her at all. :coolwink:

She is a famous repacker of gaming torrents and such. She used to repack the games and make them smaller in size. I think she gave proper credits though. Her torrents were quite famous on KAT, from where I came to know about her. I guess a lot of people searched for her after KAT was shut. Sometimes she had her repacked torrents out before anyone else could release the non-repacked versions. To add to that, due to smaller size of her torrents, people really liked them, making her torrents with top seeders in many cases.

Her torrents are also famous on other torrent sites too.

damn straight.. I love her repacks 'cos of the small size and they're lossless too.. In a recent release, her repack was only 4.4 GB compared to the original 10.8 GB.. Saves a lot of HDD space.

Unfortunately I believe she only repacks PC games. . .

She does have a site (Wordpress) via http://fitgirl-repacks.site/

She posts her latest repacks there, as well as having a repository for her very early repacks, as well as directly engaging her followers there for their comments & feedback.
She credits the sources of her repacks so it's clear-cut from the beginning what you'll expect from the repack, aside from posting details of her own additions, changes & game versions. If she finds an error or messes up a previous repack, she'll announce it and post fixes or workarounds for it.  :P

knowledge-Spammer

You can contact Fitgirl via PM systems on the following sites (registration required on all of them):

I speak English and Russian.

If you can and want to re-upload my repacks on filehosters (like mega.nz, multiupload.com, bannedhost.to and so on), feel free to contact me. I can put those links to my mirrors list, so users w/o torrents could download them. My only requirement is simple – no ad-powered inter-links like adfly, only direct links allowed. I will hide them in url-protection service myself.

Use contact details above.
