To anyone interested in finding out the roots of ISIS and similar fanatic Islamic fringe groups, the New York times has published a 15 page study of Saudi Wahhabism, exposing Saudi's role in nurturing Islamic fanaticism and the support provided by Uncle Sam to create a force capable of standing up to The soviet intervention in Afghanistan.

The article by Scott Shane touches upon several facts that have been suppressed in western media so far, like the fact that ISIS uses Saudi school text books to teach Islam in schools in areas under its control, and the fact that Saudi Arabia established over the past 40 years with the blessings of Western governments, 1359 Mosques, 210 Islamic centers, 202 Colleges and 2000 schools in none Muslim countries, institutions that preach and teach the Wahhabi doctrine, the same doctrine ISIS adheres to.
I guess all is fair in love and in the pursuit of free oil.

Viva pax Americana.
