Kaspersky Internet Security 2015 and Malwarebytes Pro

u don't need both realtime just use KIS 2015 is enough

MBAm pro uses almost like 10-12 processes and will suck ur PC

regards

Not to mention the number of MBAM services that insist on starting-up with Windows (regardless of whether MBAM real-time is employed or not) . . . . . . . . . . A5qMhta.gif

Present Security Setup (in alphabetical order):—

  • Adblock Plus (with Element Hiding Helper)
  • CookieSafe
  • Firefox (in 99% locked-down mode)
  • NOD32
  • NoScript
  • Process Lasso Pro
  • RoboForm Pro
  • MailWasher Pro
  • Windows Firewall Control

CookieSafe is no longer compliant with the latest breed of Firefox — trying out other alternatives, ATM.

After much testing, have settled on Self-Destructing Cookies — as a replacement for CookieSafe.

Replaced both the following:

  • Windows Firewall Control (WFC) and
  • Process Lasso Pro

The Windows Firewall Control (WFC) tutorial is now live — this new implementation will also block Microsoft from intruding into your privacy (especially for Windows 10 Users.) 8)

Windows default + MBAM + SUPERAntiSpyware Professional

Of course, for browsers use - Adblock Plus & Adguard App (not all the time, only when necessary)

Here's my holy grail of my security setup:

Run my main account as a standard user beside a administrator account that has strong password (with UAC on obviously).

This does wonders.

But what happens if at times need to use admin, can i stay on same session but run in admin when needed for certain apps ?

also if you have both standard and admin, won't the program files available not be available for both as is kept separate ?

  1. Yes, just enter your password when prompt
  2. The program files is always available but there will be separate profile per each user account

with this i do not remember when it was the last time that i grabbed a virus/credential leakage... and so on, no need to have more applications on demand.

I am trying to be as safe as possible. I have an antivirus, a firewall and an encryption software (Folder Lock). I am confident over my security setup.
