Reefa
Quote E3 2016 is less than two weeks away, and one game developer is already announcing what new titles it will show off at the industry event. In an email today, Ubisoft has revealed a handful of the games it will present during its press conference, with the biggest surprise being Watch Dogs 2. Well, may 'surprise' isn't the right word, as the game has been rumored for months now, but this is the first confirmation of the title from Ubisoft, with E3 being its official debut. Other games that Ubisoft said it will be previewing include For Honor, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and Eagle Flight, with some of the titles playable at the company's booth on the show floor. That's not all we'll see from Ubisoft, however, as it promised some additional "surprises." Ubisoft said its press conference will be live streamed around the world, with fans able to watch on YouTube, as well as Twitch and Facebook. The presentation is scheduled for June 13th at 1:00 PM Pacific, and will have actress Aisha Tyler hosting for the fifth year in a row. The original Watch Dogs, released in May 2014, put players in the role of a hacker in an open-world environment. While the game was highly anticipated, it was met with a fair amount of disappointment from both fans and critics, with most criticism focusing on the game not living up to the way it was presented in initial demos and trailers, along with some shallow gameplay mechanics. Despite all this, the game sold over 9 million copies worldwide, which explains why Ubisoft is willing to give the series another shot. There's been no details thus far on Watch Dogs 2's gameplay or improvements, but obviously we don't have much longer to wait to get a first look. source
Administrator DKT27 Posted June 5, 2016 Administrator Share Posted June 5, 2016 Always wanted to play the first one. Never did due to bad reviews from sites and users. Not sure if game companies are not executing some of the different type of games properly or it's the gamers who are not liking them.

Like the news says, there was disappointment and ire because graphically the finished game that was distributed didn't look like the polished one shown at E3. Personally I can't really say anything about the gameplay as I didn't last more than 20 minutes with the game. The instant you get into a car is when everything falls apart. Performance drops to an unacceptable level even with those who have enthusiast gaming machines. It was simply impossible to drive around in a vehicle. And the game makes you need to drive in cars! Thief (2014) was another game plagued with game breaking issues.Micro stuttering and a formidable performance drop when you warped thru zones or even from your hideout. The game literally froze in those instances. Farcry 3 and 4 are other games suffering from terrible micro stuttering. Dead Island is another game with stuttering problems. You had to go into "ease of access" and tweak some keyboard settings to get rid of it. Having to surf the Net to find solutions to those problems on your newly acquired game has nothing to do with appreciating the gameplay in general but it sure doesn't help when judging it overall. So this would argue that some games are not well optimized or executed. But these were games I still liked to play if you can look past the technical issues. I was not aware even games with good reviews, the ones you have mentioned above have such problems. I think only one thing can describe all this. Bad port. I am not having such problems on a Bethesda game. Everyone is complaining that the engine is same as their previous famous game, but the game looks relatively fine and is stable enough here. Sylence
Watch dogs is a great single player game but that's it, you can barely even call it open world let's hope they focus more on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands
