I followed your steps and got PowerISO registered - I just hope it doesn't unregister itself after a couple of days of use. The good news is I can now create ISO files out of any files no matter how big the original file is. However the "drag & drop" function of PowerISO still won't work and I tend to think it's a bug in the program itself. Do you guys have problems with dragging files to PowerISO ?

I don't have any problem when dragging Windows 10 - x64 ISO to PowerISO if it's you mean.

I cannot drag anything to the PowerISO window, be it ISO files or any other file types. But it's only PowerISO that is affected, otherwise dragging files works just fine with me.

Try override install to see if it fix the issue. Or install old version and install new version over it. Either of them should fix.

Thanks for the tip but I finally worked out what was wrong. In PowerISO Properties (accessible when you right-click on the PowerISO icon on the desktop) the box "Run this program as an administrator" was checked. I unchecked it and am no longer having any problems with the program.

I'm not sure when or why I checked that box in the first place but it was the cause of my issues with PowerISO.

I'm having the same problems as other users.

Trial message appears and when trying to save, an error about not being able to read the directory structure and unexpected end of file.

What is the best solution?

AT4RE patch?

kindly?

R2R keygen?

Edit: I re-installed and register with the R2R KG and though I can save an iso now, I get the 300MB limit nag screen and a red/blue "buy online" link on the program's UI.

Edit2: After that, I tried Team REiS patch and same result: Unexpected end of file when saving an image.

Edit3: Then, afte restoring the original exe, I tried Kndly patch and didn't work, not registered.

Update: Blocking the IP thru the host file and registering with the R2R kg seems to do the trick definitely.

That's what I did, except I used my own name and key generated with R2R kg instead of kiko something...

It looks like safedns blocks the power iso site. They tell that it is a virus......:lmao:
In this case I don't need to block the app. in firewall or to edit " hosts "  file......:tooth:

I'm sorry, My Friend. Almost 10 hours I am in the field. Here it is:

1. Run Command Prompt as Admin (right-click on Start Menu and choose (Command Prompt (Admin).

2. Type notepad drivers\etc\hosts on dos prompt.

3. Put this text:127.0.0.1 50.62.134.113 in the last line and save it.

4. Done.

127.0.0.1  ??

isn't that my computer ?

Nope. It's just to block 127.0.0.1 50.62.134.113 in PowerISO. I'm sorry if I'm doing wrong, My Friend.

What's this supposed to represent in hosts file: 127.0.0.1 50.62.134.113 ?

@thunderpants

yes, it is your local machine; localhost

and do not put in hosts that line:

127.0.0.1 50.62.134.113
