I would put this in the jokes sections, but would insult the section.

Sometimes I think Windows is a giant virus, Trojan horse or malware.

I spend time each day cleaning up, backing up and updating.

I ghost primarily and rollbackrx pro for quickness.

I had my p.c. up-to-date, clean as a whistle, backed up, drivers the latest and my system was like riding the finest women one could ever meet, or drive a Ferrari what ever floats your boat.

So 19:00 I put P.C. into sleep, went to bed, awoke 03:00 a.m. went to sitting room, then, first thing I do is put the window lights on stroke both my Cats, then click sleep button, to access P.C.

First thing I noticed was biometric did not work, however, I clicked an option and logged to the desktop.

I needed to make a leadertask entry to remind me of something I was wanting to do before sleep that day, keyboard not working!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh so frustrating.

So I removed drivers, rebooted and keyboard working again, however biometric reader was not, so had to reinstall drivers now working.

Is it me or am I the only one? That gets so frustrated with computer operating systems, that,  I wish I died before they were ever invented as they drive me nuts!

Moved to Software Chat.

Well, I had to uninstall and install my mouse drivers, yes, you read it right, mouse drivers four times already. Either the mouse would not click or would not be detected atall. Somehow, AV installations and uninstallations added to this.

Driver Magician does a good job of that.

When ever you see it given away for free get the key as if you use it only for driver backup then your still o.k.

Sh!t happens mate and you are not the only one suffering from windows OS. Can't tell anything about linux or MAC though as I haven't use them long enough to encounter such problem if they would show up.

Back then when I had a desktop, I use to have a Logitech mouse. While doing usual work, the mouse pointer suddenly stops moving. I had to restart the computer to get that work for another few hour or so.

@Kalju The registry entry you speak of is present upon installing Driver Magician, even without providing a serial of any type. Even after successfully registering Driver Magician the entry remains present in the users registry. Set your PC date ahead past "endtrialtime" date. If Driver Magician continues to run normally it is registered correctly. If it is a 15 day trial you will be prompted to buy it or enter serial and it will go no farther.

Also if you search for Driver Magician here on these forums you will find the newest version along with more than enough serials and even a working keygen tested by yours truly.

@LeeSmithG I have OS now going on 3 years without hardly a hiccup. Am I a lucky one?

Well last time I reinstalled Windows 7 Pro was on October 13th 2013, which is a record for me, as I used to do it every three (3) months before.

I got sick and tired spending two days, installing, downloading and updating.

As I wrote, my P.C. became perfect, then Sh*it happens.

Why you don't use DUMo from KC Software? I think it works fine and you can get a key for that.

You should ask, ''do you use blah blah blah''.

They are crap.

That is why.

why use third party apps.. what's wrong with keeping the original drivers' setup files in a folder for later use?

OK and sorry.gif.062f513aa1a98639d2794d3b9dc45f I never tested DuMo, just use SuMo some times for software witch don't has a autoupdate function

Nothing is wrong with that, and normally I would agree about 3rd party apps. BUT Driver Magician is absolutely non-invasive and works flawlessly for myself. So I make an exception and do use this software. It makes the task effortless.
