Windows 10 is the latest operating system from Microsoft and is unique in a way that it is being distributed by the technology giant. Microsoft has decided to make the Windows 10 delivered to Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 SP1 customers free of cost through the Windows Automatic Updates. While this is a welcome news for many of the Microsoft’s loyal customers, some of the Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users are not very happy with the forced upgrade to Windows 10. If you are not happy with the Windows 10 upgrade, then you can quickly downgrade to your earlier version of Windows using a simple tool called NeoSmart Windows 10 Rollback Utility.

Windows 10 Rollback Utility is available as the ISO image for a bootable CD that loads the actual tools using which you can roll back the Windows 10 upgrade. You can download the ISO image and create either a bootable CD or a bootable USB flash disk. Using either of these you can boot into EasyRE (Easy Recovery Essentials). After EasyRE runs it will scan your PC for various Windows installations. It will list all the detected Windows installations and, if it is possible, will give you an option to roll back. You can choose one of the archived Windows installations and click on the Roll back button to start the downgrade.

EasyRE follows a very safe method and does not delete the files belonging to your Windows 10 installation. Instead, all it does is move the Windows 10 installation files to another folder and then restores the older versions of Windows. This gives you an option to use EasyRE and upgrade to Windows 10 once again if such a need arises at any later time.

Conclusion: Windows 10 Rollback Utility makes it very easy for anyone to downgrade your PC from Windows 10 to Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8.1. The same utility can be used to upgrade your PC back to Windows 10 since it preserves your Windows 10 files.

Nobody has to do nothing but pay taxes and die, life is full of choices and big money  and peer pressure dont make them for me. because  I'm a grown man  . If I use something  its because  me alone wants too. We already have Microsoft trying to force Windows 10 on us if we use Windows 7 or 8.1 regardless if it works right on you're hardware or not. So we dont need our peers  trying to pressure us into it as well.  People who use XP ,Vista  or Non Windows are the lucky ones, because we dont have to deal with the BS.

1. 181 million  PCs still use XP  its still the #2 O/S in China

2. You can keep using Windows 7 the rest of you're life if you chose too. if you bought it, it belongs too you.

3.  You could just use a smart phone

4.You could buy Mac OSX instead

5,  You could do what I  did instead of rolling back  I wiped  windows off my machine after trying windows 10 and installed Linux .

6. You can just keep Windows 8.1 and not worry about none of it tell 2023 .

The reason 861 million systems use windows 7 still is because there  were a lot benefits  from updateing to x64 and faster processors from XP  . Now Windows have become bloatware  adding features  to do with every O/S but windows and we simply don't need them to run legacy windows applications . People actuality bought windows 7  unlike most of the free upgrades coming from Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 , Windows units have been declining in sales  since 2013 thats about the time the shops got full of windows 8 . So Windows 10 never proved its worth yet . tell people go out and actuality buy it , It made Microsoft  less money than ME ,Vista and Windows 8x did. Buy the time I tired windows 7.. I only stayed on it for like 3 years , it done proved it's worth and SP1 was fixing to come out. I done been on windows xp for 10 years and the only reason i bought windows 8x was because i needed new pcs and its good on updates tell 2023. I waited tell Windows 8.1 was out to buy it. :P

Makes no sense. You HAVE to upgrade some time. You don't have a choice in the matter..

Whether that's 10 or something else.. you literally can't sit on 7. And attempting to do so is complete stupidity.

No you don't have to upgrade to Windows 10 its not the only O/S by a long shot ,  there's stil 181 million  PCs still use XP  for what ever reason many people dont have  money to invest in new machines  or they just simply like XP better. same reason there's so many on smartphones  now days  people cant afford PCs  and many use them simply because they like them better because there portable .Old saying is you cant squeeze blood out of a turnip.

You can't get something from a person, especially money, that they don't have i.e. A turnip cannot be coaxed, squeezed, or cajoled into producing blood. All efforts at obtaining blood from this vegetable will be futile

Its all in you're mind you have to upgrade or to  use windows at  all , I went  over  half my life  and never needed it . Still over half the world  dont have internet at all .If the internet  stopped working tomorrow life  would go on, they would have to put things back to the they were before is all. Witch we were better off really.  Only because you live in fear of security and the boogie man  you think you must upgrade, You know the last time I caught malware was like 2008!  181 million pcs on  XP  dont worry about the boogie man and the majority of Linux community dont use no Anti malware  so we dont live in the fear of what's not happened yet ether .We deal with it when and if it's gets here . For all  we know the world may not even be here in 2020 , If you got one foot in the past and one foot in the future you're peeing all over today. We will deal with the year 2020 when its gets here if it ever does. :P

The biggest problem i find with the majority of people that use windows they live in fear of what if. And fear is not good for you. go outside  and  do something  else for a change . Life is not all about windows .   Big companies try to sell stuff  based on peoples security fears on the internet and  not based on its usefulness . People everyday  replace useful stuff in place of stuff not as useful . They give up there privacy and things that are more useful  out of there own  security  fears . It's paranoia .

I see many people on these forums update software on the fact there was a update even tough the update be full of bugs  and not as good as there old versions . Windows 10 is prefect example  of this lets all update its free . :)

Many people are addicted to updates and patching  like it were a drug and me being a former uploader and software addict  I can tell you its not healthy  .

When 2020 comes  you can tell people who's left on windows 7 to go out and buy new windows  but that dont mean they will .XP has 181 million  that didn't  and with each dead windows versions  the numbers will just increase .  But  right now  being on windows 7 is not even a issue tell like 4 more years away.

Jesus Christ.. I'm surrounded by fucking imbeciles.

Private message me in 10 years time (Not joking) and tell me you're still running Windows 7.

I'm dead serious. Bookmark this page, set an alarm 10 years from now, and I bet you whatever you're willing to put down that you

WILL NOT be running Windows 7 at that time. 14/4/2027.
Looking forward to hearing your excuses.

Windows XP is done, programmers are barely supporting it now., similar situation will occur with any OS that old.. only a matter of time.
When we're running quantum PCs you think any of them will be running Windows fucking 7? No.. Like I said you must upgrade sometime.

People can't afford PCs? I can work for minimum wage for less than a day and go out and buy a complete machine second hand capable of running Windows 10 no problem.
Maybe you're talking about rice farmers in Vietnam or something..

If you don't think you need to upgrade anything anytime then please.. show me. Download DOS 6.22 and Windows for Workgroups 3.11.

I remember it worked quite well for me back what twenty years a go.. since you believe nobody needs to upgrade, maybe you can give it a shot.
Or hell.. I'll maybe even let you upgrade to Windows 95, that was a pretty solid OS for me too.. or I could be generous and allow you Windows 98? I really liked that one, never had a problem with it!

Let me know how you get on.. Upgrading the OS is like getting your teeth pulled obviously. Never knew the world required so much shit shoveling.

Some people dont understand what rehashing is .. its releasing the same thing over and over again with little or no change .  The part that people find useful  to be able to use legacy apps has not really changed at all since XP . Only computers have become much faster and newer  versions of windows is used under x64 now.  But its still the same old Windows NT kernel . In Linux  there's very few programs that can installed  in a x64 subsystem that are x86  meaning  there's no need for backwards compatibly , Half the programs people still run on x64 windows are in the x86 folder . Meaning there way behind Linux  on this but Apple is even further behind than Windows. Windows XP   had a X64  version they could done like Windows 10  they should had developed it instead of keep rehashing it with different names . Now people have bought Windows XP and windows 7 there pretty tired of buying rehash versions of windows with changes that  add compatibility to install any thing to do with a O/S thats not windows that no one wants .

Older devices are able to do what  the majority of people need . No one much is interested in spending $1,500+  for VR gaming  While  PC gaming is strong . gaming PCs are a distinct minority of the PC industry. Its not enough people  that are willing  to invest in PC  gaming to save Windows  .  To the majority  as long as a  computer has a browser its enough  most live in there browsers ,playing online games , watching videos  , streaming music , checking emails , visiting there favorite sites to read the news  , shopping online , etc. and any O/S has a working browser i guess. :P
