Microsoft Says Windows 10 Can Block Anyone from Spying on Governments

Mate, no one said that Linux is perfect but it all comes to how you will use the OS.

Linux has many advantages and even more disadvantages compared to Windows this is why i said

" I have a dream.....to use linux as my main OS some day"

Let me give you an example...

My dad got an old pc with 2 gigs ram and and old dual core cpu.The man refuses to clean up temp files, to defrag the disk and other stuff.

Solution to the problem? Linux and thats that,Windows 10 would also run great the first couple of months but after that we all know how it goes.

My personal opinion is that IF Linux had HALF the amount of focus, developing, advertising and money that Windows had

it would have been a way better OS but it wouldn't be free anymore would it?

if you're computer geek, chances are you know what to do to "handle" windows (10) "problems". heck it might be easier than installing and set up new os (linux, etc). eg for irvanview problem, just disable uac. i use irfanview without problem in windows 10.

so, imo, it's back to user's (the computer geek) choice and/or what he/she gonna do with the computer (eg it's easier to develop android rom in linux environment). and if your PC is powerful enough, there's VM solution.

for me, i use 3 boots, windows 10, osx (hackintosh) and ubuntu. but mostly i use windows 10. :)

Most Linux proponents have done the same...

Being depended on something and using it sometimes because you have it is two different things .

I have a windows 7 machine I use  for encoding videos sometimes but also I'm still on my Linux machine when i use it. i just walk over there and set it up  and I rarely ever do this any more.

I also have a windows 8.1 that i go on sometimes   to keep windows updated and the programs updated.

But mostly I use Linux Mint  its my main O/S .. i also have xubuntu on my Linux box on another HHD  but I hardly use it  i just keep it updated and stuff.

If they dont admit  they use windows  technically there's  no way you can prove they do use it unless you knew the whole Linux community in real life witch would be impossible .

So  why do you  bother to say something that you cant possibly know and prove ?
