LOQUILLO Posted January 11, 2016 Share Posted January 11, 2016 For to remove ei.cfg isn't something simple, you need to know the risks, I had uploaded the tool used for long years for to create my own AIO. I had readed too much before to do changes to an original windows iso file. This error I had haved when was starting my practices with Windows 7, but after I had founded this tool for remove ei.cfg file and solve my problems like you. Also try this with another usb and a new iso of any other window or any bootable iso.Try it another laptop if it boots or not. Try Ultraiso but having it installed in your computer. I make usb for windows 7 (legacy and UEFI) and also windows 8.1(UEFI) with it without any problems. Do it with a clean iso that is not tampered. Is it giving you the same error? If so, do ALL the steps to create the USB manually on your laptop, but for that ONE STEP involving bootsect.exe, do it on another computer.
