One was sitting on a park bench while the other rested his head against a tree Tired: It was a long night for many as the festivities continued into the early hours. funkyy Posted January 1, 2016 Share Posted January 1, 2016 I have only gotten drunk once in my life, many years ago when I was a student, and it was more by accident. I was fine sitting in a chair in my own family's house, but I made the mistake of going outside to cross the street to my friend's house. The fresh air hit me and I returned to my house. I woke up in the morning lying against the toilet seat and I couldn't remember a thing from the night before after re-entering my house. I swore I would never get drunk again...and I never have. I drink very, very little....not typically Scottish!! Seeing drunk people making a complete fool of themselves can be very off-putting....especially when you are looking in a mirror!!!
