We have seen what the future of javascript is like its been ugly for a long time.  There creating new technologies all the time if any company can create a javascript alternative google or alphabet can and should.  The whole internet would break possibly.  There working on ideas look:

That project is dead as deemed unfit to replace JS 

 

it It took  HTML5 nearly  17 years to become finalized  to become a candidate  to replace flash.

Thats why its so insecure because its so popular they can evolve it into different JS like C# is to C++ or C.  As for the project being dead I know it doesnt really matter how long it took them to make HTMLFive it took alexander grambell one thousand tries to make the light bulb does that mean he failed nine hundred and ninety nine times no that means he ended up finding out nine hundred and ninety nine ways on how not to make a light bulb.  That article talks about how nice HTMLFive is and how its going to be good in two thousand sixteen opposite of what you were saying.  I agree its eating the world the world is broken the world of the internet is broken because of it the internet is so insecure its insane thanks to javascript and its nodeJS angularJS gorillaJS so on and so forth are delaying the inevitable I think.  Ill be alive (hopefully) to see a successor to javascript we are going to see I havve faith.

You think it mattered to people that didn't have lights that Alexander Graham Bell failed nine hundred and ninety nine times?  No it didn't they had lanterns. Only tell something is invented 1st that it can replace something  does  it start mattering at all .. then it has to be approved  witch will  take  a very long time .  I have more faith of seeing World War  3 1st.

 

That' s  called Self-deception  believing in things that's  not happen yet , its not  good for you . Like the song goes...If it will it will, and if it won't it won't. If it does it does .  So why build  you're own hopes up   just to let yourself down if it don't happen ?

There is a big difference between faith and self deception and if world war three could bring the end of javascript we blow ourselves up with north korea and its bombs try a global killer nothing would survive everything dies including bacteria.    Your getting into politics and thats against the rules back on topic there was a operating system created by hackers that were bored that was FUN forget what it was Ill find it.  I decided to be a christian and Im happy I did my faith has helped out alot and its hasnt failed me yet I doubt its going to fail me javascript ends up thriving and HTMLFive fails I dont see it happening not with that link you showed me.

I didn't worry about HTML5  tell it started starting me in the face in Firefox last year then we figured out YouTube was using it to canvas fingerprint you . Did you know that if you use flash  on YouTube that you can disable canvas and it will still work  but if you use HTML5 the only way to get around it  is use  a fake fingerprint   witch is only working in Firefox by the way now canvas fingerprint blocking  add-on don't work at all in google chrome right now. HTML5  invades you're privacy  also  Google ban addons  to keep you from downloading  from there site Youtube  and Firefox is headed  the same way with it changing to Google's api .  I don't really like HTML5  if by chance you achieving a little extra security   you are giving up privacy and freedom of choice  . It should be our choice what we use in our own browser  or do we want to use flash  or not,  HTML5 is more about Google controlling the internet than it is about security .

Well for me I use JS files  in greasemonkey and such some of them protect me against malware and ads and stuff  its just like anything else  it can be used  for evil  or good is the point im trying get across

I did know that yes the addon does work i have tested it.  I dont use google chrome most of the time I prefer firefox.  I agree and know it can be used for positive and negative my point is javascript has replacements coming there way when HTMLFive is a replacement a alternative to flash.  According to the link you posted:

I think the point DKT27 was making  that JavaScript and HTML5  are not the same thing  so were going to far off topic . I don't see nothing wrong with this project  OJS  but will it catch on i have no idea  I know I have no need for it.  For me to use something I have to have a need . Im not like i was 5 years  ago were I test everything new under the sun.

I know there both not the same I never said they were omfg.  How insecure it is thats whats wrong with it it would take no time at all to hack into it.  I test everything I used to do it alot now not so much my hard drive one terabyte filled up and I had to stop.  I have so many programs installed its not funny and keeping them updated is fun.  HTMLFive cant work without javcascript on youtube they work together  so its not really going off topic when talking about that not talking about OSdotJS is going off topic and like I said its insecure shouldnt be used as a main OS using it as a test operating system is fine if you use it as a main operating system and you get hacked thats your fault.
