Reefa
Five Norwegian Hackers, men between 16 and 24 years have been arrested for possession, use and sale of malicious computer software in Norway. The arrests are part of a series of arrests in Europe, organized by Europol. This week there has also been arrested hackers in Romania and France. Norway’s Kripos – national criminal investigation service, today announced the arrest of five males, aged between 16 and 24 years, for possessing, using, and selling malicious malware. Police say they have seized ‘substantial amounts’ of computer equipment for analysis, as well as taken control of several internet accounts. One of those arrested has confessed to running his own web store where malware was sold, according to a Kripos statement. Norwegian Hackers Sold Remote-Access Malware Online Remote Administration Tool or ‘RAT’ is a remote-access malware that allow the attacker to take complete control over the victims computer. Once infected the malware will log keystrokes, harvesting passwords and collect other personal information. It can also hijack webcams in real time and perform malicious cyber attacks against other computers and/or websites. Quote Those arrested have sold or used the malware which can be used to take over other people’s machines. These programs can be used for minor criminal activity, but can also cause major injuries. – Havard Aalmo, head of the section for computer crime in Kripos, told NRK. Police have seized large quantities of computer equipment that is now being investigated, and has also seized a number of Internet accounts, Norwegian police said in a press release. Several of the accused Norwegian hackers acknowledges of having used malicious software against others for several years. One of the suspects affirm of having run an online store that sells malicious malware. Quote Unfortunately, we have seen examples of young hackers who start small, and then gradually commit greater and more serious computer crimes. This internationally-coordinated action is an important measure to prevent these types of crime. – Aalmo said. Europol Swoop Europol’s drive against computer crime targets a number of levels, from organized backers and developers, to young people who possess and use malware. According to Kripos, this work calls for tight international cooperation. Information derived from these Norwegian cases will be shared internationally. secjet.com

straycat19
Quote Those hackers are not part of anonymous. And you know that because.... Go blow smoke up somebody else's ass. Quit posting bullshit. Anonymous is exactly that and outside a few close friends no one ever knows who else belongs because there is no formal membership. I can be a member today and not tomorrow. And all I have to do to be a member is say or think I am.
