Batu69
Firefox continues to fall, on a downward spiral Browser market shares, according to Softpedia Recent browser market share studies have shown that while Chrome is firmly in grasp of the number one spot, little guy Edge is slowly creeping up on its competitors, despite its minimal set of features and Windows 10-only support. While we previously wrote about statistics from Net Applications, Quantcast, and StatCounter, we decided it was time to reveal our own version of the browser market, based on our internal data from the month of November. As you can see from the graph above, Chrome is easily the top dog with 45.8%, more than double Firefox's portion of 19.2%. This is consistent with other recent statistics we have looked at, and also reaffirms Firefox's downward spiral. We won't debate about the fine details of why Firefox has been falling out of grace with users, but most of the criticism is focused on Pocket integration, and the removal of older, but loved features. Since Edge is a hot topic and this is our first time when we release such data, we can't precisely say that Edge is going up or down. Compared to statistics from other providers, Edge seems to be gaining ground, but we'll take this data with a grain of salt, for now. Above is the Softpedia browser traffic data, and you can view how browser traffic shares evolved on our dedicated Browsers section. Till next month mon amis!
