There is no change log available at this moment

Microsoft has just rolled out a new version of Skype for Windows, but as per the company's latest approach to app updates, there's no information on what's included in this release.

Despite Redmond's increased focus on other platforms, including here mobile operating systems, Skype for Windows continues to be the most popular client of its VoIP service, especially because it has a familiar UI and it's really easy to use with a mouse and keyboard.

Skype 7.15 retains all these familiar features and most likely comes with bug fixes and other improvements, as Microsoft focuses on refining the overall performance of its operating system.

Obviously, it also works smoothly on Windows 10, the company's latest operating system, even though adopters of this version can also chat with their contacts through the Messaging app that's directly built in.

What's interesting, however, is that Skype is one of the few Microsoft apps that are actually supporting all Windows versions that are currently in use, including the old Windows XP, whose support ended in April 2014. Skype still runs smoothly on this version, and Microsoft is unlikely to pull the plug on XP support anytime soon, given how many users are yet to upgrade.

Overall, even though there are no release notes available now, updating should be on your to-do list, so download Skype for Windows to get the latest version on your PC too.
