Batu69
AVAST Software has unveiled its 2016 product range, including Avast Free Antivirus 2016, Avast Internet Security 2016 and Avast Premier 2016.The highlight is Avast Passwords, a new password manager available in every edition (yes, even the Free build). It’s a surprisingly capable tool which not only generates secure passwords, stores and fills them locally (credit card details, too), but also syncs them with your mobile devices via new iOS and Android apps. The commercial editions also get the SafeZone browser, an upgrade of the SafeZone, which provides more ways to protects your online transactions from keyloggers and other malware. Browser-based extras include bookmark, history and cookie imports, an ad-blocker, and video downloading.Elsewhere, an improved network scanner detects more router vulnerabilities and gives you extra details about them. There’s also smarter and more compatible HTTPS scanning, as well as an array of "minor tweaks and bug fixes", and it’s all packaged in a redesigned interface.Avast’s 2015 products managed only mid-range scores in the last AV-Comparatives Real-World Protection Test, but there’s no doubt the Free build crams in a lot of functionality, and the new password manager means it’s better than ever.Avast Free Antivirus 2016, Avast Internet Security 2016 and Avast Premier 2016 are available now for Windows XP and later.Source
davmil
Fixed a number of bugs I was experiencing related to unfounded URL blocking where the product wouldn't apply associated 'exclusions'. Don't allow Browser Add-In "Safeprice" when FFox asks if you don't want it.
emerglines
Now the interface is cripled and less useful, like you have access only to options and scan which is bad for an antivirus. However, it's fast and use low resources (RAM, CPU), which is good, and scanning doesn't interfair with any task even watching videos. Holmes
How many times are they going to redesign the darn interface? Seriously why keep adding new features password manager and safezone browser do they want to compete in internet browser wars now they have safezone there are password managers available. How about you improve the detection of viruses. Stop adding new shit people dont want makes me not want to use two thousand sixteen.
