Hi floppy2, very nice, but I dont need it coz my Z97-K motherboard has a much better sound-device on board, its called Crystal Clear 2, in combination with Realtek and DFX ( on Bose-loudspeakers) it gives you the best sound ever heard !!

It Must be using the old v11 driver then because on my 8.1 machine I get the same error as windows 10 and cmd don't work with it ether because secure boot is on .

This is the thing I tried to say since yesterday. 64 bit Windows since Vista won't take unsigned drivers unless system is patched to do so.

(I don't use this software, but for testing purposes, I installed this. This is the reason I don't have any older components in my system.)

And that's all I had to do for Windows 10 64-bit.

I can't understand why some people are having problems.

Check the driver date in device manger and see if it don't say its from 8/30/2015 ..I can get it to work from installing over-top of v11 but i don't think it updates the driver . To do clean install you need to make sure to uninstall it form device manger. B)

I got it working now i tested it by installing v11 and checking the driver it was dated from 2011 the new driver is updating as long as i install version 11 1st . ;) This program never really updates tell a major version comes out because the latest v11 still had a driver 2011.

DFX Audio Enhancer 12.010 Adds free Setup + Fix exe

Workaround Disable / Enable Driver Signature Enforcement

Windows 7 & 8:

1. Disable Driver Signature EnforcementCommand Prompt (Admin)bcdedit /set testsigning on2. Restart PC taking the effect3. Install dfx12Setup4. Apply Fix5. Enable Driver Signature Enforcement (Back to Normal)Command Prompt (Admin)bcdedit /set testsigning off6. Restart PC taking the effect7. Done

Windows 10:

a. Settings --> Updated & Security --> Recovery --> Advance Startupb. Once selected, you will see an advanced startup section appear on the right hand side. You will need to click on the “Restart now” button.c. Once your Computer has rebooted you will need to choose the Troubleshoot option.d. Then head into Advanced options.e. Then Startup Settings.f. Since we are modifying boot time configuration settings, you will need to restart your computer one last time.g. Here you will be given a list of startup settings that you can change. The one we are looking for is “Disable driver signature enforcement”. To choose the setting, you will need to press the F7 key.

Tested working Windows 10 Pro x64

it doesn't work. when i restart doing bcdedit /set testsigning off. DFX doesn't work. it only appears in system tray.
