No, I'm not joking. There are reports and it is confirmed that there are malware associated with downloading of apps from Google Play and some of those are actions by NSA. Also, there are some issues with Google Play Scanning system as it doesn't detect properly.

2. If you have used app, did you try using latest version?

• My best suggestion is to activate with MyBitdefender and then use it in older app version v2.46.47, until the BD Central is fixed completely and more stable. Note: Please don't update the app until fixed. 2. Login in Bitdefender central and add in manually, got the same error.

Not all of the malicious are fake apps. For example, let me remind you about Amazon app. At-least 2 out of 10 releases[including Google Play] of this app contains malware which is hardly detected until you scan very deeply or if you wait for a day or two, it'll be added to blocklist of most AV.

I think you can't use the key through central, since central combines the keys to show as subscriptions. Since the promo keys can't be merged with the subscription period, BD Central is blocking it.

My best suggestion is to activate with MyBitdefender and then use it in older app version v2.46.47, until the BD Central is fixed completely and more stable. Since you have tried adding multiple times, please use another email id to grab a new key and then use it as I told you. Add it to MyBitdefender and then use it in older app version.

It should work. Since you tried with central, the key might be hidden in central. So, use new key only with MyBitdefender and not in Central.
