IBM's Watson project seems to be in the right direction, for interpreting these sorts of important data that affects humans, and analyzing the data and feeding it back into a more meaningful useful form. To me the potential for that could ultimately be very useful, especially for keeping track of the stock market with your own personal ai assistant, rather having to resort to a stock broker.
