Batu69
The release notes for Windows 10 build 10540, that is expected to be part of the Threshold 2 update have been leaked, revealing nearly everything that will be coming in the next version.Microsoft is rumoured to be preparing the Threshold 2 update for a November release but Russian leaker WZoR has already published the release notes for a build that is allegedly part of this update. The leaked documents confirm earlier report that the update would mainly address performance issues and include optimizations. In addition to these, Microsoft is finally bringing Jump lists to Windows Store apps which were otherwise limited to desktop apps pinned to the Taskbar and Start Menu. Microsoft Edge is also getting a new user agent-string to improve compatibility with websites.Navigating through the documents reveals an interesting point, where it is mentioned that creating bootable USB drives will not be possible owing to the increased size of the install.wim file for the build. Although, this might just be an issue for FAT32 formatted drives, Microsoft hasn't mentioned whether it is possible for USB drives formatted with NTFS.There is still plenty of time for the TH2 update but now users should know what to expect when it begins rolling out in a couple of months.Source: WZoR via WMPUGallery: Windows 10 build 10540 release notes
