Just three weeks after the public release of Windows 10, Brandwatch has taken the pulse of social media reactions to Microsoft’s latest operating system. While the verdict is overwhelmingly positive, there are some notable negative reactions to the latest Windows release.

The social technology company reports that, after “analyzing 7,000 authors online and on social media, we’ve constructed a focus group to determine how much people ‘love’ Windows 10. In short; they love it a lot.”

Brandwatch closely analyzed about 7,000 reactions on social media and other outlets, out of a total of 1.2 million mentions of Windows 10. Shortly after launch, 92% had positive reactions, while 8% had negative mentions. But over time, negative trends appear to be rising, with 80% liking it and 20% not so much. Without going into detail, they note that a “trend towards growing hostility can be observed.”

The detail of the analysis is striking, diving into the features of Windows 10, including Xbox integration, task view (virtual desktops) and the Edge browser. Notably, Cortana appears to be the most positively talked-about feature, with “mention volume” exceeding all other features, with Edge and the start menu following closely behind.

The features people negatively mentioned? The start menu tops the list, with Edge in second place. Here’s a merge of the positive and negative in one chart:

This unscientific survey should be taken for what it is: social media reactions over only three weeks, albeit closely studied. It's possible other research firms will follow consumer reaction to Windows over a longer period of time in closer detail. Source: Brandwatch via: Windows Central

Great, graphs and great post from above, its obvious they are lying, this article is a crock of shit, as well as that so called 12% user base of W10 Survey MS was claiming people have installed, yea OK. It's true a lot of people are rolling back or not using it as all, especially that spying cunt CORTANA. Lmao. Like I'm going to leave that on.

Don't forget their stupid survery includes insiders and all the users that are still testing the waters of this O/S in Virtual Machines. Hell, I'm not even that stupid to use it as my "main O/S" ... lmao.

In the survey Microsoft forgot to mention how many users downloaded and used all kind of programs to avoid the new spying strategy. I think that very few user have the new OS ”untouched” by DWS.
