You’re still allowed to use Windows 10 on that same PC even after changing its hardware, but that may not be clear. Microsoft won’t give you a product key.Microsoft really doesn’t want to explain how the activation process works. steven36 Posted August 20, 2015 Share Posted August 20, 2015 Basically its just like having a OEM key . so if you use it instead of your retail win 8.1 or 7 retail key it can just be used on one pc they one its activated on .
