Well, ofc it is, and it will stay there for a long time, since more than 80% of programs you install depends on it to work....

lol ? I use IE11 as main browser without troubles (because is more fast and use less resources), but well, if you don't like it, then you can just disable it as always.

  • Can't block ads
  • Crashes on rich web pages
  • It's slow and uses more bandwidth

each of those reasons merely can prevent people from using it as default web browser.

I block ADs in IE11 with AdBlock Plus.

I don't see crashes on it since years.

for me is more fast that other browsers atm, use less resorces and bandwidth usage is the same that in other browsers, because it uses cache too.

You can rename or even delete iexplore.exe — on all my systems, I set iexplore.exe to be auto-deleted and have also command my Anti-executable to block iexplore.exe . . . . . . . . it is also further blocked by group policy. B)

In addition to the multi-layer approach against Internet Explorer, I also use Method # 2 illustrated at post # 2479. :showoff:

If cache were to be the holy grail of speed, Firefox would be on fire:—

ABP is a toy comparing to Ublock origins.

ABP is a toy comparing to Ublock origins.

both do the same, just that some people don't know how to configure ABP.

Well I dunno if you can configure it but there are differences between them. It uses less system resources and you can customize it more than ABP.
