The Owl Posted July 12, 2015 Share Posted July 12, 2015 if that was a Burmese it was a baby, I suggest you read thishttp://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/teesside-news/public-warned-vigilant-after-second-9634566they found a Royal Boa which is a fairly docile snake a couple of days before but a 8 foot Python is not a big one this is a list of the more "popularly kept ones"Children's python: 4-6 ftJungle carpet python: 4-7 ftBall python: 3-6 ftBurmese python: 14-20 ftBlood python: 5-7 ftand the one caught after escaping is a Amerlistic Python worth a fair bit of money which surprises me normally this would sell very quickly so if the person who had it wanted rid of it it would have sold quick.
