That is what I meant. I was reacting to this:I'm using PasteBin so I don't have to split the original link(s) into site and sharecode. You split your links like everyone else. I understand the original links wont get split, but something is still split. I didnt say (or mean to imply) that you were going against rules or anything to that effect. The fact still remains that the links take you to a wait time site, something I pointed out 2 posts ago. I bring that up because RS is one of them & that is what the entire thread is about, right?

I didnt say (or mean to imply) that you were going against rules or anything to that effect.Close to the idea, but I guess I need to elaborate.PasteBin + Illegal links = implement use of sharecodePasteBin + Legal links = optional use of sharecodeI use PasteBin as a container, and inside it are the link(s).If there are dozens of links (not limited to RS), won't that piss you off; having to assemble them instead of just copying it to your favorite download manager? The fact still remains that the links take you to a wait time site, something I pointed out 2 posts ago.I don't know how to argue with that, but in the first place, my intention of placing the links in PasteBin was to make the copying of links easier.I bring that up because RS is one of them & that is what the entire thread is about, right? You're right about how this thread is about RS, but not about how one is supposed to post. Mission accomplished.I can't argue with that, but rules are rules. My intention in the first place was to make the copying of links easier.Lets get something straight, I dont have a problem with paste2 or bin whatsoever. My point was what the paste links lead to, not the actual paste sites. I'm not saying you should post anything a certain way, you've been here much longer than I have so I'm 100% positive you know whats going on more than I do. You've been doing what you do for years, I'm not trying to change you or that in anyway. Maybe I should leave the side comments out & be straight forward...You're right about how this thread is about RS, but not about how one is supposed to post.I get the feeling you think I'm being manipulative or controlling. Not in any way am I (at least I dont think I am) being one or both of the two. All I'm saying is, when it comes to this thread, all of my posts will lead back to the main subject. I dont like to side chat in a thread (especially a debate one) so when I say something leads back to something else, that's pertaining to me, not you. I never said you had to post this way or that way. You have your own style, I have mine. Let's just leave it at that.EDIT:I use PasteBin as a container, and inside it are the link(s).If there are dozens of links (not limited to RS), won't that piss you off; having to assemble them instead of just copying it to your favorite download manager? No, it wont because I dont use download managers. As I've said plenty of times before, I'm lazy. When it comes to software (in relations to dl'ing) not so much. If I have to fix a link (2 seconds in notepad) I'll do it. I dont use download managers anyway. A gui complicates things (for me)...
Bizarre™
I updated my post :lol:BTW, I don't mind you speaking your mind (or anyone else for that matter). It's the best way to keep everything in check.I have encountered a lot of forums that ended up in misery just because everyone refuse to listen and / or understand.Edit:No, it wont because I dont use download managers. sumant30
I only use RS when i can't find something on torrents also they have reduced there dload limit now to a gr8 extent so what's the point in getting a premium account nowadays.
KotaXor
Yap, only use RS if I can't get it somewhere else.Using skipscreen, so can just paste and go!
lulwut
I have no problems with it. Though I have a premium account, but I still must say it wasn't too bad as free either. What I did was usually with the aid of jDownloader, get a few links I had wanted and paste and go off the computer. The wait times sucked but with jDownloader I didn't even have to sit there and wait for them. A great program for anyone who is a free user, and even Premium though I personally use Internet Download Manager for that. Also I heard of this skip screen. I haven't used it personally but hear great things.
Administrator DKT27 Posted July 7, 2009 Administrator Share Posted July 7, 2009 I also use skipscreen. It needs to be updated many times as RPS and other try to stop it by not allowing it.
Administrator DKT27 Posted December 2, 2009 Administrator Share Posted December 2, 2009 In addition to what trouble rapidshare gives us, and nowadays it's almost impossible to download by rapidshare's free downloads; now rapidshare wants to trouble it's Collector's Account users also. Today I got a email from rapidshare, that I guarantee is legitimate, says it all. This is what it says - Dear Customer #*******, (I've removed my account user no. and it was the right no. as no one else knows it) we hereby inform you of a modification regarding the file inactivity regulations for Collector's accounts. The guaranteed storage time of a file after the last download (or after the upload, if a file has never been downloaded) will be lowered to 60 days on January 1st, 2010. Please note that Premium accounts whose files use more than 50 GB of storage are subject to the same storage rules as Collector's accounts. If you do not agree to the Terms of Use, you are entitled to cancel the contractual relationship within a time limit of four weeks as of receipt of this notification. Should you not make use of your right of cancellation, the alterations are presumed to be accepted and become an effective integral part of the contract. RadioActive
For some f*cked-up reason the most commonly used upload services are the worst! RapidShare, MegaUpload, HotFile, and Uploading just to name a few, but the list is actually endless! Why on God's green earth do people pay money to this shitty services is beyond me. Administrator DKT27 Posted December 2, 2009 Administrator Share Posted December 2, 2009 You know I've wasted about 10 hours to download just a single 100MB file. Rapid8 is overloaded. And no ther site is as good as this one(Rapid8 not RS).RS should be banned now. :banned:

Night Owl
Yes, RapidShare is really bad right now (I'm a free user). It took the latest Beta version of SkipScreen eight automatic retries before RapidShare finally offered the file I wanted for download.

Atasas
so bad, that as I have suggested earlier, to avoid using it on the site all together or to have new banner for a site: "Rapid$hit sucks and blows!"

irefay
I have a rapidshare account. I wont be renewing it when it comes do. Hotfile is used much more on most sites anyways. They are way less restrictive. Just a suggestion: Maybe we could *recommend* or *not recommend* certain file servers. To flat out ban a file server seems a bit extreme. If rapidshare keeps up their policies, there will continue to be a shift away from people using there servers.
