sledge101 Posted September 11, 2015 Share Posted September 11, 2015 hi xyz... it seems you got a lot of spares... nice one... i might be wrong but that if that will go beyond 3pcs / key.... otherwise that will be blocklisted :) if used more than the volume of the key. so guys, better backup the license.conf once succesfully activated just in case. Then if you wish to re used it back... well just replace that one then host block it in case the next restart when your online , it gets blocklisted , ( a nag will appear)... hopefully im wrong... my two cents... :)@ knowledge... no need to worry mate, got an adequate keys already .... i just said that the server 911.. all keys generated are not functional. server 825 and 917 is ok.... btw. But i have a question, i never used nor hosts block for malwarebytes nor patched net.conf and never had problems. I needed one of them? Because all works good. sledge101 Posted October 12, 2015 Share Posted October 12, 2015 @ james.... no need to host block and patch the net conf if you have a valid key as one you activate it without the any patches it communicates immediately to the mb server and register it. if succesfull, once you reactivate it in your own pc, it will be activated so no need patching however if the key is noted to be abused or used more than the seats required ( e.g. in volume license 99 seats, regular user 3 seats per key) then most likely that will be blocklisted. So if you generate a new key and register it as normal as lifetime then you are alright but if the key is abuse or used more than that , need to host block it. ( like for e.g. this key 2MB21 this is volume exceeded now last month its ok., but when you patch the net conf or host block it then apply the original activation file created last month... it will show premium... ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
