Adblock Edge @ Moziila ~~~ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/adblock-edge/ :( :(

**This addon will be discontinued on June 2015
Reason: Discontinued in favor of uBlock, a general purpose blocker, that not only outperforms Adblock Edge but is also available on other browsers and, of course, without "Acceptable Ads Whitelist".***

Popular Adblock Plus fork Adblock Edge to be discontinued :sadbye: :sadbye:

You find the reason for the decision in the description:

"

, a general purpose blocker, that not only outperforms Adblock Edge but is also available on other browsers and, of course, without "Acceptable Ads Whitelist".

Sad, especially as ABE is better easier to use and slows traffic less than than uBlock. He probably just got tired of being under appreciated by uBlock fanboys

Did you read what he said "ublock outperforms ABE, by applying simple logic he's also saying it outperforms ABP too"

Your comment is a hurt ABE fanboy comment.

At least on my system, Adblock Edge slows browser startup much more than uBlock does. (I use Pale Moon XP, under Windows XP Pro SP3.)

That's not my problem (I don't care for efficiency) - it is your problem (I expect an ad. blocker to block all advertisements.) ;)

It is the User who needs to be efficient - not the ad. blocker. h3uXN07.gif
