Video: Hands on with Windows 10 build 10056, showcasing the new UI and more

Windows 10, up until the latest leak, wasn't the prettiest of operating systems. Build 10056 helps with the overall UI of Windows 10, making it a lot more modern and up to date with other operating systems. Windows 10 build 10056 leaked earlier today and includes an updated UI, a couple new apps and more.

As per usual, WinBeta has placed their hands all over the new build to showcase all the latest changes. You can give the video a play below.

Windows 10 build 10056 was a leaked build, meaning it isn't being pushed to Windows Insiders who are still on 10049. Microsoft is planning to release a release candidate build of Windows 10 at its annual BUILD event later this month, which will be feature complete.

Nice new updates. The resize-able start menu is a nice option, main UI looks smoother (love the dark theme for now). Also, check out the Recycle Bin icon - looks much better now.

It still looks big and ugly to me..If i had a tablet it would be ok but for desktop, not so good.
I would only wish for windows 7 to get directX 12 support but i don't think thats an option.

There will be Aero Glass such as the link below but most likely not from Microsoft. I'm still using Windows 7 too.

Aero Glass for Win8.1+ v1.3.1 provides experimental support for Windows 10 up to build 9879.

Good to see the OS development progressing. Now it is just a case of getting these recent releases stable as they have been a bit off their usual level of rock solid stability.
