Rock Lee
They already have Windows Live OneCare, wonder if that failed. I used it before, it was pretty nice.
Administrator Lite Posted June 13, 2009 Administrator Share Posted June 13, 2009 Onecare is actually a pretty decent peace of kit. I think MS started on Morro as a change of philosophy.
Rock Lee
Onecare is actually a pretty decent peace of kit. I think MS started on Morro as a change of philosophy. Can't find a reason why. The only thing I didn't like about 1C (it's not really their fault) is once the trial ran out I couldn't find a fix for it. It was really good as far as detection (this was in my younger, less experienced days. I download a loads of garbage back then. I wonder why I never see anyone using that in av tests) & light on resources. On top of that, 1C sounds better than Morro
temp123
What about Windows Defender? Is that being scrapped?
Administrator Lite Posted June 14, 2009 Administrator Share Posted June 14, 2009 Seen as though it is a part of Windows 7 that seems very unlikely.I think Microsoft is simply working towards providing free useful security tools for Windows.
