Is it my idea or Hddb is faster than Everything?

tried both, still use everything, problem i have with HDDb it just crashes.

hddb install/ extract, run it, first use creates database <just like everything. now as i have 10tb of drive space takes a longtime, however during this process it crashes. meaning the database is corrupted and you have to start again.

Everything same as above, however it doesnt crash but it does however want to recreate the database everytime you run it so its best to leave it running. <this is the reason why hddb was created it would not recreate the database everytime but just reload it. the 2 database files are not compatible with each other.

so you have a choice, hddb <crashing before the database is finished meaning you cant actually use it to search. or Everything which doesnt crash but will want to recreate the database if you close it. even when you tell it not to.

Think i found the fix to the database, leave the program running for 24hrs after its finished scanning if you have a load of drives before closing it > Everything. just loaded it, and it shows all the files and doesnt want to search, also checked the options. Compress database is ticked.
